She was born Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1906, in Kirkwood, Ky., to John Stout and Virginia (Bowman) Barkley. She was an assembly line worker for Stephens Ice Cream Company, Oklahoma City, until she was 68. She loved being an aunt to her entire family and loved to sew and read all types of books.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Eugene, John, Orville and Emuel Barkley and sister Margueritte Adams.
Survivors include sister-in-law, Betty Barkley, Calera, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Calera, with her nephews serving as pallbearers.
Coffey-Murray Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
