Laureate Alpha Xi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will meet at noon today in the home of Natalia Duval for a soup tasting event.
The Bokchito/Rock Creek Alumni Association will meet at 6 p.m. today at Frank's Cafe in Bokchito. All graduates, students, teachers and spouses are encouraged to attend the meeting and Dutch-treat dinner.
The Caddo Community Association and The Masonic Lodge will be co-hosting a fund-raiser for the Caddo Volunteer Fire Department today at 6 p.m. in the Boland Park Community Building. Refreshments will be served. At 7 p.m. there will be a pie and cake auction. All proceeds and donations will go to the fire department. They lost a fire truck in one of the recent fires, and have also incurred extra expenses due to the number of blazes in the area. The Durant Education and Service Sorority will have a movie night at the Rex II Theatre in Caddo today. Social time begins at 6 p.m., the movie will begin at 6:30. All members are encouraged to attend and bring a guest.

The Bryan County Master Gardeners will hold their meeting Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Bryan County Extension Office, South Ninth Avenue, Durant. This month's program will be gardening chores to be done in February and March in preparation for spring. Specifically, instructions on pruning will be provided.
