CADDO - More than 500 fourth, fifth and sixth grade students participated here in the Bryan County Elementary Track Meet last weekend.

“The weather was great and the kids had fun,” said Caddo coach Don Tidwell. “The only problem was we were not able to get all of our races in. If all the Bryan County Conference schools had been here, we would have had to shorten it even more.

“As it was, we got all but two of the events completed before everyone had to get back on the buses and head for home.”

Schools represented were Achille, Bennington, Caddo, Calera, Rock Creek, Silo and Yuba. The county-wide meet was sponsored by Caddo's Parent-Teacher Organization.
