Services will be at 12 p.m. Thursday at the First Freewill Baptist Church of Healdton for Harvey Gene White, 58, Lone Grove, who died June 5, 2006, at his residence. Revs. W. C. Hamilton and David Gardner will officiate.

He was born June 30, 1947, to James Hubert and Velma White. He married Mary Dell Hall in 1966. He worked for the County Building Center as a lumber salesman. He was a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Healdton and was also a pastor for more than 30 years. He was affiliated with many churches and had been an associate pastor at the First Freewill Baptist Church of Healdton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of the home; son Randall White and wife Kellie, Lone Grove; daughter Gina Richardson and husband Kerry, Lone Grove; brothers Delbert and wife Mary Carroll, Caddo, Carl and wife Diane, Arlington, Texas, James, Bokchito, and Henry and wife Pat, Shallowater, Texas; sisters Joyce Strickland, Caddo, Lily Dove and husband Bill, Paducah, Texas, and Gail Shaw, Cheyenne, Wyo.; and grandchildren Mallory Gaines, Brooke White, Ashlye White, Allyson Richardson, Aaron Richardson and Kyle White.

Burial with military honors will be at Center Hill Cemetery near Kenefic. Pallbearers will be Richard Watkins, Roger Watkins, Willie Lewis, Brad Mullins, and Ray and Nathan Christian. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Charles, David Lomenick, Billy Lambert, J.D. Hicks, and Mark and Kenneth White.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the Harvey-Douglas Lone Grove Chapel. Harvey will lie in state a the Harvey-Douglas Lone Grove Chapel.
