MADILL - A Boswell man was killed Tuesday after he crossed the center line and struck a semi truck head on, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Michael G. Isaac, 47, was dead at the scene of the 5:16 p.m. crash nine miles west of Madill on U.S. 70.

According to the patrol, Isaac was eastbound when he drove his car left of center and into the path of a westbound semi truck driven by Frank J. Marzahl, 58, Seymour, Iowa. Marzahl was taken to an Ardmore hospital where he is in stable condition with internal-trunk injuries.

Isaac was pinned about an hour before being freed by Madill firefighters.

Both drivers wore seat belts, according to Trooper Danny Chaffin's report.
