Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Eastside Baptist Church in Marlow for Leamon Owen Bullard, 81, Marlow, who passed away Monday, July 31, 2006 in Marlow. Rev. Cal Hunter will officiate. There will be a second service held 11 a.m. Friday at the Fairview Baptist Church at 1200 W. University, Durant, with Rev. Dan Campbell officiating.

Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.

Leamon was born Saturday, December 13, 1924 in Kenefic to the late William M. and the late Mattie E. (Harrell) Bullard. Leamon received his doctorate of Theology from Andersonville Baptist Seminary in Camilla, Calif. He married Addie L. (Diggs) Bullard on December 20, 1950 in Dougherty, Oklahoma. Leamon retired from the Civil Service and as a Southern Baptist Pastor. He lived in several locations in the United States including the Marlow area for nearly 2 years, Durant for 13 years, Achille for 2 years, Santa Rose, N.M. for 4 1/2 years, Altus for 4 years, Rio Oso, Calif., for 11 1/2 years, Cordell for 11 1/2 years, Sulphur for 3 years, Dougherty for 2 years, Shawnee for 1 year and Big Canyon for 2 years. Leamon pastored several Southern Baptist Churches in Oklahoma, California and New Mexico. He was the Sr. Adult Ministry Leader and during 46 years of ministry, he held many denominational offices. He enjoyed fishing, camping out with family and activities with senior adults. Leamon was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Marlow.

Survivors include, wife, Addie Bullard of the home; sons, Owen J. Bullard and wife Song of Copperas Cove, Texas, Bobby John Bullard and wife Brenda of Woodlawn, Tenn.; daughter, Darla Bullard of Marlow; grandchildren, Addie Song Bullard and Sandy Darla Bullard of Copperas Cove, Texas, Alexis Bullard of Woodlawn, Tenn., Jenna Varnell, Fla., Aiden, Ky.; sisters, Ina Lee Daniel of Duncan, Willie L. Jamison of Midwest City; sister-in-law, Ola Carrell and husband John of Bokchito; life-long friends, Tommy Patterson of Muskogee, and F.M. Roundtree of Hurley, N.M.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

He was preceded in death by his son, Jacky Wayne Bullard; daughter Donna Bullard; parents; two brothers, Jay Bullard, Jack Bullard; three Sisters, Ruby Bullard, Alma Morgan and Kitty May Roundtree.

His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
