The Savage Storm (7-0) is riding a seven-game winning streak and is off to their best start since 1996-97.
That season also marks the last occasion that Southeastern was ranked nationally as the Savages climbed as high as No. 5 in the NAIA after opening the season with 13-straight wins.
Southeastern puts its first NCAA Division II ranking on the line Wednesday night when it plays host to the University of the Sciences and Arts of Oklahoma (1-6) out of Chickasha at Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
