DURANT - Southeastern Oklahoma State's Rayshaun Hollings capped a brilliant career Tuesday as the first member of the storied program to be named to the American Football Coaches'Assocation All America Team.

Hollings was a four-year starter at Southeastern and anchored the lines of three-straight Lone Star Conference North Division champions, including a unit that helped SOSU to its lone NCAA Division II playoff appearance as a sophomore in 2004.

He becomes SOSU's first football All American since center Kevin Burton was named a Don Hansen's Football Gazette's All American while defensive lineman Reggie Johnson earned the same honor from D2Football.com in 2004.

Hollings helped the Savage Storm sustain the nation's tenth-best passing attack in 2006 after paving the way for the most prolific offensive attack in SOSU history in 2004 when the Savages amassed 4,780 yards of total offense (434.5 yards per game).

The 6-2, 290-pound Grand Prairie, Texas product was also named to the 2006 Daktronics All-Southwest Region First Team and LSC North Lineman of the Year after gaining All-LSC North Division first-team honors for a fourth consecutive.

Hollings became just the third player in the 97-year history of the SOSU football program to earn all-conference recognition in each of the four seasons of his career joining current coach Joe Jones (1997-2000) and Hall of Fame defensive lineman Elmar Perry (1986-89).
