Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at 7th & Beech Church of Christ for Odessa Haggerty, 92, Durant, who died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Bro. Jimmy Stegall will officiate.

She was born Wednesday, April 29, 1914, in Floral, Ark., to Melvin Vest and Cora Bowren. She married Raymond Haggerty in 1933. She came to Oklahoma in 1921 from Clarksville, Texas. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening and loved to fish. She was a member of the 7th & Beech Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Martha Van Hoy and son Johnny Haggerty.

She is survived by sisters Ollie Damron and Stella Langham, both of Durant, and Louvina McKeekan, Denton, Texas; granddaughters Debi Hendrix and husband Sam, Ardmore, and Pam Styles and Brenda Allen and husband James, all of Durant; great-grandchildren Tate and Madison Styles and Elizabeth, Jake and Trent Allen, all of Durant; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will in be Highland Cemetery with Mike Styles, Tate Styles, James Allen, Jake Allen, Harold Ray Langham, Mike Haggerty and Trent Allen serving as pallbearers.

Family hour will be from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
