She was born Friday, May 23, 1930, in California, Mo., to Ruben Jobe and Blanche (Maupin) Jobe. She married Frank Barney Fahrendorf Aug. 1, 1947, in Tipton, Mo. She has lived in Calera since 1964. She was a housewife who enjoyed cooking and taking care of the kids. She was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Chester Jobe, Leroy Jobe and William O. Jobe; and sisters Sally Jobe Chouiard, Margaret Jobe, Susie Jobe and Martha Jobe Nickols.
She is survived by her sons Bruce Fahrendorf and wife Patricia, Del City, William Fahrendorf and wife Pam, Durant; daughter Jenny Cooper and husband Raymond, Terrell, Knickolette “Joan” Church and husband Michael, Woodstock, Ga.; sisters Eldora Streater, Calera, Joan Bryant, Mississippi, Dorothy Wasson, Calera; brothers Herman Jobe, Florida, Gene Maupin, Fortona, Mo.; special nephew and niece Ray and Ann Mcollum, Mesquite, Texas; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
