DURANT - The Bryan County Sheriff's Office is expected to pick up one suspect today who is charged with first-degree murder and being held in a Texas jail.

Bobby Don Mullinix, 24, and Charles Shannon Bussey, 40, are charged with murder for the death of Tristan Ace York, 27, whose body was found by fishermen in Lake Texoma over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Linda Gayle Haworth, 43, was charged with accessory to murder.

All three suspects were captured Saturday in Mineral Wells, Texas, on unrelated charges, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The local sheriff's office is expected to pickup Bussey today. Authorities said Mullinix has since been picked up by Grayson County, Texas, authorities for charges there. Haworth is still being held at a jail in Palo Pinto County, Texas, where she is wanted. It was not known when Mullinix and Haworth will be brought to Bryan County for court hearings.

According to investigators, York was beaten, stabbed and shot at Haworth's 202 Meadowlark Lane home before being dumped in the Rock Creek area of the lake. A motive has not been revealed although authorities said there had been a disturbance at the home.

Earlier this year, Bussey was arrested and charged with drug trafficking after drug agents searched that home, according to court records.

Mullinix had already been sentenced to a four-year prison term for rape but bonded out of jail May 22, despite that he was not eligible for the release. How that occurred is under investigation.

York was arrested earlier this year on drug charges. He bonded out of jail, but was arrested again after he was charged with being a fugitive from justice for a parole violation in Travis County, Texas, court papers state.

On May 21, Bryan County District Judge Mark Campbell ordered York to be released from jail on that charge because Travis County authorities indicated they were not willing to come get York, so the fugitive charge was dismissed.

Authorities said York had been staying at the Meadowlark Lane home and he is believed to have been slain two days after his release from jail.

York is originally from Gainesville, Texas, according to an obituary published in the Gainesville Daily Register.

In other crime news, a man wanted on a lewd molestation charge was arrested Wednesday. Richard David Thomas Jr., 19, Durant, was arrested without incident at his place of employment, according to Durant Police Lt. Johnny Rutherford.

Thomas is accused of fondling an 11-year-old girl on a church bus.
