DURANT - Two forklifts, a front-end loader and a dump truck burned early this morning during a shed fire at Gray's Sawmill.

Durant firefighters were dispatched to the sawmill on Old Highway 70 and Sawmill Road at 3:50 after a passerby saw the fire. When they arrived five minutes later, they found a shed that was engulfed and had collapsed.

Firefighters fought the fire and brought it under control in approximately 15 minutes, according to a department report.

The shed and the vehicles, valued at $35,000, were destroyed. Firefighters were on the scene until 6:05. A state fire marshal agent will be investigating the cause of the fire.

In other emergency calls, firefighters soaked up five gallons of oil after a driveline on a semi truck broke loose at 5:09 p.m. Tuesday on West Choctaw Road.

No one was injured during a rollover accident Tuesday morning on Highway 69/75 one mile south of Colbert, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Authorities closed the southbound lanes from 9:30 until 11:30 to clean up the accident scene.

Firefighters were dispatched at 7:52 this morning to the AT&T center at Sixth and Evergreen after a fire alarm activated. Firefighters checked the building and learned that smoke from a burned fan belt set off the alarm. There was no fire.
