Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Chapel for Patricia Jean Bryant, 70, Springer, who died Feb. 13, 2008, in Ardmore. Pastor Larry Berryhill and Pastor Tim Lehman will officiate.

She was born Nov. 14, 1937, in Berwyn to Howard Smith and Irene (Brock) Smith. Patricia attended New Mexico High School, moving her senior year and graduating from Rankin, Texas. She married Billy Bob Bryant April 1, 1956, in Springer. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as a phone operator for 30 years before retiring as a group manager. She and her husband were members of the Christ Community Church of Ardmore.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Howard Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Bob Bryant, of the home; son Billy Gene Bryant and wife Carolyn of Oklahoma City; daughter Pamela Ragan and husband Glen of Bonham, Texas; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; brothers Dale Smith and Guy “Pete” Smith; sisters Beverly Marburger, Becky McNeely and Judy Smith; and grandfather, Frank Brown of Florida.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.
