Billy Charles McDonald, Sr., 73, of Bokchito, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday morning, April 16, 2008, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

He was born August 10, 1934, in Sherman, Texas, and was the son of the late John and Margie Lemmon McDonald.

He was an Army Veteran during the Korean War.

He married Terry O’Bannon May 17, 1976, in Trenton, Texas. Billy was a concrete finisher for many years.

He was also preceded in death by a brother John McDonald, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Terry O’Bannon McDonald of the Bokchito home; seven children Billy Dwayne McDonald of Catoosa, Gerry Charles McDonald of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Debbie Hobgood of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kelley Pogue and her husband Mark of Garland, Texas, Tony Lewis Bernard of Galveston, Texas, Christine Osborne and her husband Robbie of Boswell, Oklahoma and Billy Charles McDonald, Jr. and wife Heather of Denison, Texas, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A family night for Billy McDonald was held from 6-7 Friday evening at the McDonald home 600 N. Hamilton in Bokchito, Oklahoma.

There was a graveside service at the Bokchito Cemetery Pavilion Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 2 p.m. Mr. Robert Swain officiated. Burial followed in the Bokchito Cemetery.

There will be a lunch served at the family home at noon Saturday prior to the funeral for anyone who would like to come.

Arrangements were entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Caddo, Oklahoma.
