A Cartwright man was flown from the scene of a rollover crash on a county road south of Cartwright.

Jesse Travis Brown, 20, was transported by LifeStar helicopter to Parkland Hospital, Dallas, Texas, where he was being treated for a possible head injury, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said. His condition was not known at the time of the report.

Brown was traveling northbound at 12:20 p.m. Sunday when he drove his vehicle off the roadway, overcorrected and rolled onto its top. According to the patrol, Brown, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected 25 feet.

Excessive speed was the cause of the crash, according to Trooper Ashley Hampton’s report.
