Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel in Dallas, Texas, for Roy Howell “Jack” Shull, of Garland, Texas, who passed away Oct. 21, 2008. Rev. Lynn Stroud will officiate.

Jack was born May 5, 1913, in Albany to Carlos Shull and Ida Pearl Miller.

Jack was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Army.

He served 50 years in the Carpenter Union. He had a good wife and a good family.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Shull and daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Theo Jenkins.

He is survived by wife Christine McMahon Shull; sons Roy J. Shull and wife Libet and John Galanopoulos and wife Susan; daughters Sharla Jenkins and husband Wyley, Susan James and husband Gary and Diane Landreth and husband Emmitt. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

An open visitation will be held Wednesday at Restland Funeral Home.

Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, is handling the arrangements.
