DURANT — A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Frisco, Texas, man accused of sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl.

Terry Wayne Hill, Sr., 48, was charged Thursday with lewd molestation. He came under investigation in September after an alleged sexual assault at a River City Road residence was reported to the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office.

According to an affidavit by Sheriff’s Investigator Chuck Wells, the victim disclosed that Hill had touched her private parts.

Wells and Sheriff’s Investigator John Bates interviewed Hill, who immediately denied the allegations. The affidavit states that after more questioning, Hill admitted to touching the girl inappropriately and felt “really bad” about it.

He also said he had been drinking heavily, according to the sheriff’s office.

In other sex-related crimes, warrants were issued Thursday for two sex offenders authorities said failed to report a change of address.

John Walus McCauley, 55, and Shaun Del Wallace, 30, were charged with failure to notify an address change as a sex offender.

An affidavit by Investigator Wells states that McCauley’s last known address was in the Silo area, but upon checking that location, Wells learned that McCauley was no longer living there and that he went to Waurika.

Wallace was charged after Durant Police Lt. Chris Marcy learned that he was listed as “delinquent” on the Oklahoma Sex Offender Registry.

According to Marcy’s affidavit, Wallace’s last known address was in the 1200 block of West Cedar Street. Wallace also has a felony warrant for a second-degree burglary charge.

In other court cases, Steven Wayne Moody, 56, Durant, pleaded no contest this week to methamphetamine manufacture and was sentenced to seven years in prison.

He was arrested in June after the Bryan County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force searched his home in the 1000 block of North 12th Avenue.

According to the drug task force, Moody had just completed a suspended sentence for methamphetamine possession.
