Will name MVP after season concludes

SE also recognized its top classroom performers, naming the top five GPA’s from the entire department.

The women’s Female Scholar Athlete of the Year was Stormie Milne of the women’s rodeo team, with the top five in order being Raelynn Beaty (volleyball), Jessica Hesse (women’s basketball), Jordan Parks (volleyball) and Mayra Leal (women’s tennis).

Travis Kincheloe from the football team was named the Male Scholar Athlete of the year, with Welton Johnson (football), Logan Russell (football), Colby Crawford (baseball) and Ryan Von Ahn (men’s rodeo) rounding out the top five.

The event was organized by SE’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee, featured games and an awards ceremony before a meal that was catered by SE football coaches.
