Silo falls short of state championship

Silo baseball was on a quest for state championship title this weekend, but the fight ended Friday night.

Silo headed to Oklahoma City to play Haskall on Thursday with winning results.

Shawn Hendricks picked up the win for the Rebels with no runs on three hits, one walk, and eight strikeouts. Hendricks went 1-3 on the bat.

Lance House completed 3-3 with a double and RBI.

Kyte Tate also completed 3-3 with three RBI.

Jared Sterling saw 2-3, while Leonard Sandler went 1-2 with a double and RBI.

Silo posted six in the first inning, one in the second, and rounded out their double digits with three in the fourth.

Silo advanced to play Wister Friday, but fell 6-1.
