Two people were injured, one seriously, in a head-on crash Friday morning on Highway 70 west of Boswell, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Mica Nickole Griffith, 19, Antlers, was airlifted to Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Texas, where she is listed in fair condition with head and internal injuries.

Linda Kay Woodbright, 59, Boswell, was treated and released for minor injuries at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.

According to the patrol, Griffith was eastbound at 6:52 a.m. in a Chevrolet two-door car when she traveled left of center and struck Woodbright’s westbound Jeep sport utility vehicle head-on.

Both drivers wore seat belts, according to a report by Trooper Eric Blades.
