Funeral Services for Mrs. Iris Gaylene Morrow, 78, of Coleman, Oklahoma will be held on Wednesday, July 6th, 2011, at 10:00 a. m. in the Hwy. 48 Church of Christ in Coleman with Mr. Mike Pannell officiating, assisted by Mr. Bill Adcox. Interment will follow in the Coleman Cemetery. Mrs. Morrow passed away on July 3rd, at her home.

Gaylene was born on August 8th, 1932, in Folsom, Oklahoma, to Toy Tipton and Mildred Murphy Tipton. She graduated from Coleman High School and married F. G. Morrow, Jr. on March 25th, 1950 in Sherman, Texas. They lived in Texas for many years and returned to Johnston County in 1997 from Arlington, Texas. Mrs. Morrow enjoyed oil painting, sports and was an active member of the Hwy 48 Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death her parents and her son, Floyd Gaylon Morrow in November of 2010.

Mrs. Morrow is survived by her husband F. G. Morrow, Jr. of the home; two daughters, Barbara McDaniel & her husband Steve of Temple, Texas and Valinda Kallam & her husband Byron of Arlington, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brother, Marvin Tipton & his wife Julie of Pearidge, Arkansas; numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Clay Crudup, Brad Kallam, Chris McDaniel, Grant McDaniel, Marshall McDaniel, Charles Ogle and Kenneth Sibley.
