Caddo voters approve OG&E franchise

Polls were open for Caddo voters on Tuesday for the Municipal Special Election. They voted on a proposition to grant a franchise to Oklahoma Gas & Electric Company to produce, transmit and distribute electricity in the town in accordance with an ordinance passed by the Caddo Board of Trustees in March. The proposition passed, with 31 votes for the proposition and 5 votes against.
