Azuara, a senior from Frisco, Texas, totaled 63 kills throughout the week for an average of 5.25 kills per set en route to helping the Storm to a 2-1 record on the week.
She reached double-digits in kills in all three Storm matches, highlighted by a 27-kill output in a 3-1 conference win over Arkansas-Monticello.
Azuara only committed eight errors on 59 attacks in that win for a .322 match hitting percentage.
She is currently ranked seventh in the nation in kills per set on the year with 4.55 kps, and after her performance on Monday night in a 3-2 win over Central Oklahoma, she has become the second player in SE history to surpass 1,500 kills and the first to also pass 1,500 digs at the same time.
In addition to her offensive numbers, Azuara also racked up a weekly total of 51 digs for an average of 4.25 per set.
Azuara will be in action for the final two home games of her career when Southeastern hosts Henderson State at 7 p.m. on Oct. 21 and Ouachita Baptist at 2 p.m. on Oct. 22.
