Graveside services for Martha M. Wilkins, 68, of Durant, who passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, in Denison, Texas, were today at 2 p.m. in the Highland Cemetery Chapel in Durant. Bro. Darel Bunch officiated.
Martha was born on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 1940, to Arthur and Annie Mae (Peden) Brown in Blue. She married Billy C. Wilkins on May 16, 1997, in Pottsboro, Texas.
Martha was a homemaker and a member of the Southern Baptist Faith. She loved playing cards, going to garage sales, traveling and being with her family.
Martha was preceded by her parents, brother Arthur Brown, half sister Ruth Ann Brown and sisters Betty Wilson and Mary Ann Brown.
She is survived by her husband of Atoka, sons Bobby Turner and wife Krissy of Kenefic, Michael Page and wife Melanie of Durant and Raymond Page of Huntsville, Texas; daughters Susan D. Williams and Jolene Page, both of Durant; brothers Paul N. Brown and wife Barbara of Durant and Robert Brown of Mead; half brothers Gerald Brown and Garland Brown, both of Durant; half sister Earline Brown of Durant; granddaughter Amber Byfield of Sallisaw; grandchildren Amber Byfield, Sallisaw, Cassie Turner and Robbie Turner, Kenefic, Allahah Page and Brenton Page, Lubbock, Texas, and Zachary Page, Durant; and great-grandchild Jameson Henry, Sallisaw.
