Mildred Ruth Maupin, 66, of Calera, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday afternoon February 7, 2012 at her home in the presence of her loving family. She was born April 17, 1945 in Sherman, Texas and was the Daughter of Glen Dean and Juston Ola Davis McKinney. She attended Colbert schools and was of the Baptist Faith. She married Marion Ray “Lefty” Maupin April 7, 1978 in Sherman, Texas and he preceded her in death February 17, 2009. She was a housewife and had lived in Calera the past 36 years. She was also preceded in death by a Brother J.C. McKinney, a Sister Maxine Carr and a Granddaughter Tabitha Baker. Surviving are three Children Lynette Lopez and husband Juan of Colbert, Royce Baker of Pottsboro and Cathy Baker of Calera. Eight Grandchildren Ray Lynn Masterson of Kingston, Juston Lopez, Sherry Metcalf and Searra Hutchinson all of Colbert, Danielle Vanliew of Calera, Kye Baker of Denison, Zac Baker of Pottsboro and Zehra Baker of Silo. Eight Great Grandchildren Nikki, Dakoda, Serena, Dillon, Chandler, Collin, Tucker and Karlee. Three Brothers Buddy McKinney of Cartwright, D.G. McKinney and Hopper McKinney both of Calera. Two Sisters Linda Etchieson of Calera and Hazel Flaherty of Las Vegas. Numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Mildred Maupin will be 11:00 A.M. Friday morning February 10, 2012 in the Cunningham Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roger Speers officiating Burial will follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert. Pallbearers will be Jeremy McKinney, Juston Lopez, Kye Baker, Zac Baker, Mark McKinney and Steve Withers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy McKinney and Greg McKinney. Family night was from 7-8 Thursday night at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert. The Family will be at 83 Cardinal Lane in Colbert after the funeral. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert.
