Brittney Burns led the Lady Rebels with 17 points, and Beth Loudermilk scored 15. Kenslie Stanley had 13 and Torrie Wright had 10 to round out the double-figure scorers.
Silo defense held serve in the first quarter, outscoring Caddo 20-0. The score was 40-11 by halftime and the Lady Rebels held Caddo to a single free throw in the third to take a 58-12 lead into the final set. The final score was 78-19.
The 11-5 Lady Bruins were without most of their starting lineup on Friday. They will host Calera on Monday; the Lady Bulldogs lost 58-32 to Atoka last Friday.
The Lady Rebels opened the season 15-0 but have gone .500 since losing to Latta in the Kingston Classic finals on Jan. 7. Silo’s next game will be on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the district playoffs in Caddo. They could possibly meet the Lady Bruins again, if Caddo wins their Friday playoff opener over Ringling.
