CADDO - Southeastern Motorsports will rev up another season of drag racing and demolishing this Saturday.

Manage Donny Fincher said the 2012 season kicks off Saturday and SEM in Caddo will have races, events and stunts on the first Saturday of each month from May through September.

“If you like to see something wrecked or getting torn up, you’re liable to see that here,” Fincher said. “And we’ll have two monster trucks down here for this race.”

The venue is located three and a half miles north of Caddo on US 69/75. Fincher says SEM has been in operation at the site since 2002.

Events will be held on May 5, June 2, the “big show” with fireworks on July 7, Aug. 4 and Sept. 1. These events will include 200-foot mud drags, demolition derby, “tough trucks” and “enduro races.”

Admission is $10, but free for ages 10 and under. Lawnchairs and coolers are welcome. Gates open at noon with races starting at 3 p.m.
