WILBURTON – Eighteen athletes and a coach represented the Bryan County area at Saturday’s 40th annual Kiamichi All-Star Classic.
The 18 student athletes all represented south teams in basketball, baseball and softball. Eastern Oklahoma State College hosted the sports competition on Saturday in Wilburton. Lance Britt of Colbert coached the South baseball team. The 25-man roster included Easton Cardenas of Colbert, Kodi From of Rock Creek, Caddo Bruins Ty Miler and Dillon Proctor, and Chase Crites of Caney.
Five local girls were on the softball roster: Tashona Robinson of Calera, Alexis Olgin of Colbert, Brianna Akins of Rock Creek, Jamie Whorton of Caddo and Macie Crites of Caney.
Three Silo girls were on the South all-star basketball roster: Brittney Burns, Beth Loudermilk and Torrie Wright. Five local players appeared on the boys hoops team: Keith Scruggs of Colbert, Colby Johnson of Caddo, Konnar Hall of Caddo, Aaron McAdams of Boswell and Trent Selby of Tushka.
The Kiamichi All Star Classic is the second oldest high school all-star competition in Oklahoma.
