Get ready for some Rodeo fun! The Durant Round-Up Club is hosting its 71st Annual Rodeo on June 8-9, 2012 at the Fairgrounds on S. 9th. There will be JR Barrels, Calf Scrambles, Steer Scrambles, Mexican bull Fights and much more. Friday night kids 12 and under get in free when accompanied by a parent and on Saturday night Seniors 65 and over get in free. This year “Dottie” will be present making history as the first female rodeo clown at the Duran Round Up- Club Rodeo. Advanced tickets can be purchased at Loftis Satellite for $6 or purchased at the gate $8. When you purchase your tickets you will received $25 free play from Choctaw Casino while supplies last. The Round Up-Club Rodeo is sanctioned by the UPRA, CRRA, and the CPRA. Don’t forget about the Western Days Parade on June 8th, 2012. The parade is set to follow its traditional route down Main Street from 12th Avenue to First Avenue. The parade is open to everyone: businesses, school groups, riding clubs, bands, civic organization and even politicians. Trophies will be handed out to best dressed riding club, best float, best auto, best dressed rider and horse. There is no cost to enter.
