Memorial services for Roger Dean Lockwood, 49, will be June 7, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Main Street Baptist Church of Elk City, Ok, with Rev. Kris Ramber officiating.

Dean was born in Durant, Ok, to Roger and Fay (Smith) Lockwood and passed away in Oklahoma City, Ok.

Dean grew up in Durant and graduated from Durant High School. He served in the Air Force and worked as a lineman journeyman and an oilfield driller. He enjoyed working on cars and earned many technical certificates in the field and he raced in the Bomber division at Lawton Speedway.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his daughter Bethany Pettis.

Survivors include his wife, Tina Calloway of Elk City; 3 sons, John Gresko of Ft. Wayne, IN, David Garcia and Brad Pettis of Elk City; 4 daughters, Tawny Snare (William), Carissa Mitchell (Casey), Ashley Helland and Jessica Helland, all of Ft. Wayne; his parents, Roger and Regina Lockwood of Hugo, Ok, and Bob and Fay Sargent of Dallas, Tx; stepmother, Debi Rushing; 2 sisters, Marni Taylor (Tim), Mead, Ok, and Tami Walker of Sherman, Tx, one brother, Ramsey Lockwood (Rebeka); 7 grandchildren, and former wife, Donna Davenport of Ft. Wayne.
