DURANT — Tickets are now on sale for the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival’s 33rd season in Durant. The season kicks off on June 22 and 23 in the Southeastern Oklahoma State University New Theatre Building at 7:30 p.m. with its opening cabaret—Four Guys Named Al, starring Aaron Adair, Jeremy Blackwood, Corey King, and Dell McLain. Tickets for Four Guys Named Al are $25 online and at the door.
Next, the Teen Theatre Professional Training Workshop presents Honk on June 27-28 at 7:00 p.m. and June 29 at 6:30 p.m. The Children’s Theatre Workshop presents Scenes from Disney June 29 at 7:30 p.m. and June 30 and July 1 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Both Educational Theatre productions take place in Montgomery Auditorium and cost $8 at the door.
The main stage season begins with William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet on July 13 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. and July 22 at 2:00 p.m. in the SOSU New Theatre Building. The interactive dinner theatre production of Game Show runs July 14, 17 and 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Visual and Performing Arts Center. Finally, the hit musical Once Upon a Mattress runs July 15 at 2:00 p.m. and July 18 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Montgomery Auditorium. Tickets are $20 for Romeo and Juliet, $40 for Game Show, and $25 for Once Upon a Mattress. Season tickets can be purchased for the three main stage shows for $80 by calling the box office or going online to the OSF website.
