Tommy Wayne Nicholas was born on March 17, 1963 in Durant, Oklahoma to Jimmie Dale and Janet Kay (Johnson) Nicholas and passed from this life on June 23, 2012 in Denison, Texas.
Tommy Wayne attended and graduated from Achille High School and worked for Crain Manufacturing as a stud welder. He has lived in Bryan County all of his life and he enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes and darts, spending time with family and friends and he loved his animals.
Tommy Wayne was preceded in death by his father; grandmothers Bobbie Brown and Grace Petty and uncle Jackie Dean Brown.
Tommy Wayne is survived by his mother Janet Nicholas of Durant; brother Larry Nicholas of Durant; sister Jackie Nicholas of Colbert; nieces and nephews Christi Nicholas, Stormmie Gomez, Nicholas Copeland, Matthew Copeland, Phoenix Vandenberg and Cruz Gomez.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Scott Crain will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery with Stan Grider, Jay Dobbins, Shannon Bully, Steve McLane, David Dollar and Ricky Childers serving as pallbearers. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM.
