Durant police, firefighters and emergency medical responders were dispatched to a trailer explosion Thursday morning which resulted in at least one injury.

Investigators were trying to determine what caused the apparent explosion of a travel trailer behind a home in the 1000 block of East Main Street in Durant between 7 and 8 a.m. Thursday. One man was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.

In other police and fire reports from the week:

A stolen trailer and a vandalism incident are among crimes investigated by Durant Police recently.

Stuart Rustin told Officer Brandon Mitchell that a Top Hat utility trailer had been stolen from a fenced-in area of the property.

Officer Shane Walker investigated a vandalism incident at Babyland Cay Care, 723, W. Evergreen St. Employees Jacqueline Gordan and Carissa Andis said someone broke into the day care and poured paint all over the floors, threw food on the kitchen floor and left the refrigerator door open so everything in there would spoil.
