Anthony and Kendall (Cavender) Kirk were married May 11, 2012, at Fossil Creek Ranch, Fitzhugh, OK. Pastor Jason Lowery officiated. Heather Callaway, Kendall’s cousin, was her maid of honor. Krista Lawson, Chasity White, and Jessica Dowdey were Kendall’s bridesmaids. Laney Michelle Cavender was the flower girl. The ring bearers were Colby Cavender and Cannon Cavender. Anthony was attended by Jeremy Childers as his best man. Kodi Lawson, Victor Seeley, and Billy Dowdey were the groomsmen. Brad Green, Troy Frank, and Charlie Geiger were ushers for the event.
Kendall wore her mother’s wedding dress, the original details were kept, but modern elements and updates were added. Kendall‘s bridal bouquet was made from vintage brooches given to her by family and friends.
The wedding had a rustic vintage theme with colors of coral-pink, brown, and chartreuse green. The bridal party wore strapless coral-pink lace layered over fully lined brown knee length dresses accented with a brown ribbon at the waist. Brown cowboy boots finished the apparel. The groomsmen wore white shirts with brown vests and slacks. The ushers wore brown shirts accented with a vantage floral print.
A reception followed the event at Fossil Creek Ranch with family and friends enjoying fellowship, food, and music. The wedding ceremony and reception music was provided by DJ Frankie Lewis.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica before returning to Durant, where they plan to reside.
