For the first time ever, OK Kids put on a softball state tournament. Placing high enough in league tournaments, gives teams a place in the state tournament. Several teams from each age group from the Durant League went on to participate in the in State Tournament and with flying results.

The 8U and 10U sent several teams and they all won at least a game and competed very well against other teams from all of Oklahoma. However in 12U, the Lady Lions and in 14U, Hugo Elite both won State Championships.

Game Recaps for the Durant Lady Lions:

In Game 1 vs BFDC, Lady Lions won 15-0, Game 2 vs Woodward, Lady Lions won 15-3, Game 3 vs Caddo Lady Lions won 11-0.

Eleven of the girls on this team are students in the Durant school system, with one of the girls attending Victory Life.
