Harold Ray Langham was born on June 29, 1945 in Durant, Oklahoma to Harold D. and Stella (Vest) Langham and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 31, 2012 at the age of 67. Harold has been a lifelong resident of Bryan County and graduated from Durant High School. He married Kathy Winsett on November 17, 1963 in Durant. Harold was a Deacon, RA leader, Sunday School Teacher and Men’s director at Calvary Baptist Church. He worked as a carpenter and in his spare time he enjoyed raising cattle, deer hunting, fishing, trail rides with his cousins and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father Harold D. Langham and sister Cora Mae Whittenburg.
Harold is survived by his wife Kathy Winsett Langham of Caddo, daughter Glenda Langham of Durant, mother Stella Langham of Durant, nephew Billy Whittenburg and wife JoAnn of Bokchito, and two nieces Jackie Tarr and husband Gene of Marland, OK and Jan Prentice and husband Roger of Oklahoma City, OK
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, August 3, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Darel Bunch and Bro. Robert Griffin officiating. Family hour will be from 6-8PM Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Brown’s Funeral Service Durant. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo with Billy Whittenburg, Justin Whittenburg, Ric Duppstadt, Eric Rowland, Lance Luke, Roger Luke, Mike Haggerty and Ed Duppstadt serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Calvary Baptist Church.
