Mary Rotar-Shore was born December 7, 1935 in Lawton, OK to Harold and Freida (Oliver) Shore and passed from this life on July 31, 2012 in Durant, OK at the age of 76. Mary married Charles Rotar in 1955 and she has lived in Durant for the last 21 years. She worked as a professional musician and was a member of the Eastern Star, St. John’s Episcopal Church. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, bridge and music.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles and one brother Robert Shore.

Mary is survived by her two daughters Amy Wood of Sharon, PA and Paulee Wand of Wylie, TX, one son Thomas Adams of Stillwater, OK and three grandchildren Jason Wood, Christopher Wand and Andrew Wand.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the St. John’s Episcopal Church with Rev. James Blagg. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. John’s Episcopal Church.
