Jackson Stuteville
The Jim Thorpe award is given to the best athletes in their respective sport and Jackson Stuteville was graced with the honor of being one of the nominees at the All-State golf game last month.
“To be nominated for the Jim Thorpe award was a great honor for me and I was really surprised to hear my name among the nominees,” said Stuteville, “And it was a great way to begin the All-State games. To be mentioned in the same sentence as all the other great athletes in Oklahoma is truly something special.”
Stuteville recently graduated from Durant High School and will lend his talents to the Southeastern Golf program.
