Joshua Aaron Wright was born on Sunday, June 5, 1977 in Chickasha, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Saturday, August 18, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Joshua graduated from Dibble, Oklahoma High School in 1995 and worked in the oil field as a rough neck and truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, anything outdoors, listening to music and watching OSU football.
Joshua was preceded in death by his dad Darrell Edward Curry; sister Felicia Ann Curry; grandparents Pinky and Kenny Curry and Bill and Louella Kitchens and uncles Marion and Josheph Kitchens and cousin Michael Elledge.
Joshua is survived by his sons Zane Aaron and Sage Ryan Wright of Durant,Ok and Brayden Lynn Wright of Yukon, OK; mother Rachel Phelps and husband Bob of Calera, OK; father Aaron Wright of Collinsville, IL; brothers Chad Curry and wife Sonya of Calera, OK, Eddie Curry of Norman, OK and Shawn Curry of Norman, OK; sisters Jennifer Curry of Del City, OK and Vanessa Tedders of Blanchard, OK; girlfriend Tiffany Downy of Yukon, OK and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate Joshua’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Bro. Tommy Southerland will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery in Durant with Jess Cockerham, John Waller, Kevin Jackson, Kenny Jackson, Shannon Coble and Chance Risner serving as pallbearers.
