Frank R. Jones of Monroe N.C., age 78, died August 16, 2012. Frank was born July 7, 1934 son of the late Paul Westfall and Elizabeth Moore Jones in Whiteville N.C. He graduated from Whiteville High School in 1952 and joined the United States Air Force, serving 22 years, retiring as Master Sergeant. Frank moved to Charlotte N.C., enrolled and graduated from Central Piedmont College.
Mr. Jones is survived by his son, Frank Russell Jones Jr. and his wife Sandra of Durant, Okla., he is also survived by his sister, Rosemary Jones Flynt and nieces, Mary Butler, Tere Bianchi, Karen Davis, Carol Drosinis and Dona Martell.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Frank will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the Historic Matthews Cemetery with Reverend Monsignor Maurcio West officiating.
