Janice Faye McCleskey a resident of Calera, Oklahoma passed from this life in Durant, Oklahoma on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the age of 74 years 1 month and 29 days. She was born on Friday, June 24, 1938 in Jenkins, Kentucky to Palmer and Bessie (Kilgore) Mullins.
Janice loved to be outside in her yard, working in her flower garden and mowing her yard. She enjoyed driving, and holidays. Janice cherished time spent with her grandchildren, especially Ron.
Mrs. McCleskey is survived by her sons, Neil McCleskey and wife Mary of Gainesville,Texas and Larry McCleskey and wife Jeannie of Calera, Oklahoma; daughter, Patricia Marshall and husband Ronnie of Armstrong, Oklahoma; father of the children, Weldon L. McCleskey of Calera, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Traciey Aplin of Durant, Oklahoma, Rebecka and husband Steve Aplin of Blue, Oklahoma, Amy McCleskey of Gainesville, Texas, Ron McCleskey of Calera, Oklahoma and Sahara McCleskey of Calera, Oklahoma; step-grandson; Gearld Lea of Calera, Oklahoma; great-grandson; Zath Morgan of Blue, Oklahoma; brothers, Ray Mullins of Jenkins, Kentucky, Colbert Mullins of Pikesville, Kentucky, Gerry Mullins of Melvin, Kentucky, Jimmy Mullins of Jenkins, Kentucky and Russell Mullins of Jenkins, Kentucky; sisters, Nona Elkins of Spruce, Michigan, Mable Tucker of Jenkins, Kentucky, Beulah Addington of Jackson, Ohio, Wilma McPeek of Sevierville, Tennessee and Kathy Thacker of virgie, Kentucky.
Mrs. McCleskey was preceded in death by her parents, Palmer and Bessie (Kilgore) Mullins; sisters, Judy Day and Eula Grubb; brother, Everett Mullins.
Graveside Services will be held at the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 27, 2012 with Rev. Kenneth Lowery officiating. Pallbearers will be Steven Morgan, Chane Hennigan, C.B. Hennigan, Jordan Morris and Albert Lopez.
