Buster Wayne Scoggins was born on Tuesday, July 6, 1982 in Lubbock, Texas to Larry and Teresa Garrett Scoggins and God received another Angel in Heaven to be with his loved ones on Monday, August 27, 2012 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 30.
Even at a very young age, Buster always had a passion for life. He was always smiling the always the life of any party. He loved to fish, plant flowers and he was always on the move doing something. He especially loved his family. He always doted on his wife calling her “My Wife”.
Buster is survived by his wife Jennifer Scoggins of the home; parents Larry and Teresa Scoggins of Achille; brother Lawrence Scoggins and wife Hillary of Calera; sister Christina Garrett and husband James of Roberta; nieces Elizabeth and Hannah Sides and Kadence and Abygale Scoggins; nephew Jacob Wright; and numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. He was a wonderful man who had the biggest heart and he will be greatly missed.
Services to celebrate Buster’s life will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Travis Huffman will officiate. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera with Kenneth Burns, Michael Garrett, Tanner Pipkin, Charlie Hernandez, Jason Hughes and Christopher Webb serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be James Garrett. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 7-9 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
