Frank Darwin Smith, 75, of Boswell, OK passed away August 30, 2012 in Plano, TX. He was born January 21, 1937 in Boswell, OK to Dyer Coleman and Ruby Mae (Latham) Smith. He married Bendaline Russell on September 16, 1999 in Nevada. He was a truck driver and a member of Heart of God Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting eagles, enjoyed life to the fullest, and visiting with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife; Bendaline Smith of the home, son; Cole Smith and fiancé Tamara, daughters; Tammy McCann and husband Jeff and Tori Smith, stepson; Christopher Hickok and wife Rhonda, stepdaughters; Wendy Hickok, Becky Marksberry and husband Larry, and Willene Dunlap and husband Mike, grandchildren; Austin McCann, Chandler McCann, Blake Cissell, Robert Hickok, Nathan Hickok, Darbee Hickok, Christy Newton and husband Timmy, Amber and Jake Cordy, Azure Yount and husband Bobby, Jacob Eames, and Nicholas Eames, great grandchildren; Wyatt Hickok, Madison Newton, Riley Newton, Tavyn Dunlap, McKenna Yount Dylan Yount; aunt; Mary Dancer and husband Jay, and nephews; Kevin Dancer and Jimmy Dancer.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Bro. Noe Rodriguez will be officiating with interment at Boswell Cemetery. Family Hour will be on Monday, September 3, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Austin McCann, Kenneth Hampton, Randell Hampton, William Boone, Larry Marksberry and Mike Dunlap. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Gould, Don Arnold, Chris Hickok, Jake Cordy and Tim Newton. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant, OK.
