Shirley Ann Henson Brown, of Mesquite, Texas passed away Friday, August 31, 2012. She was born in Kenefic, Oklahoma May 28, 1947 to Troy and Mary Lee Richardson. She graduated from Durant High School in 1965. She moved to Dallas, Texas and soon graduated from cosmetology school in 1970 where she worked as a hair stylist for forty years. Shirley enjoyed music, dancing, shopping, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and being outdoors.

She is survived by her husband, Shane Brown; her daughter Vannah Taylor of Mesquite, Texas; her son and daughter-in-law Shane and Kristy Attaway of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren Robert and Jasmin Taylor of Forney, Texas and Avery and Abigail Attaway of Austin, Texas; her brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Kathy Richardson of Durant, Oklahoma, her sisters and brother-in-laws Linda and William Pearson of Oologah, Oklahoma and Judy and Ted Vitale of Ashtabula, Ohio. Shirley also leaves behind many loving family members and friends. After the service you are invited to a reception in the Fellowship Hall.
