Matt Cartwright former baseball player for the Rock Creek Mustangs has been hired as the Redlands Jr. College assistant baseball pitching coach.
Matt was the winning pitcher on the 2007 state champion team at Rock Creek and went on to play ball at Redlands in El Reno. He went on to play his junior and senior year at Moorehead State in Moorehead, Kentucky. Matt appeared in 35 games at Moorehead as a set up man or closer. His overall record was 5-2 and opponents hit just .226 against him.
Matt is the son of John and Susan Cartwright of Bokchito.
