Richard Wayne Moore was born on November 13, 1950 in Hearne, Texas to Hollis and Dorothy Moore and passed from this life on September 9, 2012 at his home in Durant, Oklahoma.
Richard married Ola Mae Sons on March 26, 1988 in Lufkin, Texas and they moved to the Bryan County area in 1996. Richard worked as a truck driver for many years until his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents Hollis and Dorothy Moore and step daughter Nelda Birdsell.
Richard is survived by his loving and devoted wife Ola Mae Moore of the home; son Steven Moore of Lindale, TX; step daughter Shelia Powers of Oklahoma City, OK; brother Bobby Moore of Hearne, TX; sister Marsha Hellner of Hearne, TX and 6 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, September 13, 2912 at 6:00 PM.
