The Colbert Lady Leopards have won their district and now move on to the regionalplayoffs in Tushka starting Thursday.
Colbert defeated Wynnewood by scores of 12-2 and 11-2 last week. The 18th-ranked Lady Leopards will face Wister at noon Thursday in Tushka.
The host Lady Tigers, in their first year as members of the Bryan County Conference, will tangle with Latta. Tushka is ranked sixth in Class 2A softball with a record of 30-8. Latta reached regionals last week by outgunning Silo two games to one in the dsitrict playoff.
Losers of the opening games will face off at 4 p.m. in Tushka, and winners will follow at 6 p.m. Friday games will be held at noon and 2 p.m. (with a 4 p.m. game scheduled in case of a split).
