Funeral services for Carl B. Roblyer of Purcell formerly of El Reno will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the First Christian Church. Rev. Ronnie Fields, Pastor will officiate.

Graveside committal services with Military Honors will be held at 3:30 P.M. Saturday in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Bob Keck of Spring, OK. will officiate. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Family will be receiving friends on Friday September 28, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Home.

Mr. Roblyer passed away September 19, 2012 in the Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Purcell, Oklahoma. He was born on January 1, 1917 in Piedmont, OK. Mr. Roblyer served in education where he was a public teacher and had served in administration for over 42 years. Mr. Roblyer had taught in Duncan, Durant, Fox, Mohall, Madill, Wewoka. He was a member of the NEA, OEA. He had served in the U.S. Coast Guard .

He was preceded in death by his parents: Ben William & Mary Ellen (Black) Roblyer, Wife Vieva (Martin) Roblyer, Brothers: John, Emmitt, Wayne, Vincent, Raymond, Jack Roblyer, Sisters: Juanita Plunk & Opal Oyler.

Survivors include: Daughter – Renee’ Holladay from Pauls Valley, OK. Son: Kenny Roblyer of St. Petersburg, FL. Sister: Fern Burris of El Reno, OK. Grandchildren: Jennifer & husband Craig Dishman, Stephanie Holladay, Kelley & husband Rob Denny, Corey Roblyer. Great Grandchildren: Emma Dishman, Lila Dishman, Jake Holladay Thomson, Vieva Denny due in November. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the El Reno Public Schools/ Roblyer Middle School P.O. Box 580 El Reno, Oklahoma 73036 C/O Judy Lippoldt.
