Olga Mae (Fulcher) Lilley, was born on February 21, 1927, in Blue, Oklahoma, to Robert and Nettie Fulcher. She passed away on March 1, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 82.
With weary hands, teary eyes and heavy hearts, the family of Olga Mae (Fulcher) Lilley, fondly known as “GG” by all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, say farewell to her as she begins her new journey of eternity with the Lord and to reunite with the love of her life, Jerry T. Lilley.
Olga moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 2006 to live with her daughter, Marsha, who was always by her side and returned the favor of life by caring for her daily as she fought her COPD illness. She also lived in Alamogordo, NM for 52 years.
She is survived by her sons Jerry E. Lilly and wife Sarah of Azerbaijan SSR, and Jeff Lilley of Las Cruces, NM, and daughter Marsha and husband Daniel Kiehl of SLC, UT. Grandchildren, Lora Thornberry, Jerry M. Lilley, Arzu Lilley, Brandon Burling, Malia, Mailani and Makena Kekuewa, and Aundrea, Amber, Jeffery, and Zachary Lilley. Great-grandchildren, Evan, Reid and Carson Thornberry, Kaden and Staleigh Lilley, Elijah and Mikailah Lilley, Lily Burling, Maui Kekuewa, and Claudia and Caitlyn Kite. Brother and Sister-in-laws Lynwood and Bessie Lilley, Bob and Jane Lilley, Margaret Lilley, Bobby Nuckolls and many loving and caring nieces, nephews and friends.
Olga was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nettie Fulcher, loving husband of 58 years Jerry T. Lilley. Brothers, Homer, Stanley, Lester and Robert Fulcher; Sisters, Velma Burns, Erma Dobbs, Alma Burns and Agnes Simmons and many loving brother and sister-in-laws.
Olga’s soul has been lifted up on high by God Almighty to live by His side and her earthly vessel has been returned to ashes and dust and will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Durant, OK. A memorial service in her honor was held in Durant today at Dalton-Holmes Funeral Chapel.
