SILO - The sixth annual Silo Rebel Golf Classic is set for a shotgun start at 9 a.m. at Silverado Golf Course.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Silo baseball team “to help in their pursuit of perfection,” according to organizers. Indeed, the Rebels just returned from another trip to the state tournament.
Organizers are still taking hole sponsorships and team registrations for Saturday’s golf classic. Hole sponsorship specials are being offered.
Team registration includes four green fees, two carts, lunch and a “goodie bag.” Prizes will be awarded for top finishers, longest drive and closest to the pin.
